December 1, 2017 (sweden.mfa.gov.ua) A group of
Ukrainian experts from various governmental and non-governmental organizations
that are involved in the energy efficiency and energy management visited Sweden
this week to learn about institutional and technical experiences from Sweden’s
green transition.
On
November 28, 2017 the Ukrainian delegation met with representatives of the
Economic Section of the Embassy of Ukraine in Sweden in order to discuss
Swedish solutions for energy efficiency in the power plant sector, the industry
and among households as well as the prospects for further development of
cooperation with Sweden in this sphere and implementation of joint projects on
energy-saving and recycling of household waste.
As
well, the Ukrainian delegation was presented with the latest trends in trade
and economic cooperation between Ukraine and Sweden and got acquainted with the
activities and possible ways of cooperation with the Nordic Environmental
Financing Corporation (NEFCO) and the Swedish International Development
Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
Sweden
indeed is an attention-grabbing country to explore in terms of implementation
of successful energy-saving policy which might be extremely useful for further
